Parasite – Film Screening and Discussion in English

Join us for a special film screening at the Korean Cultural Center in Budapest. The evening will feature Bong Joon-ho’s Academy Award-winning film Parasite, followed by a discussion exploring the international success of South Korean cinema.

The post-screening discussion will be led by film critic Dr Teréz Vincze, Associate Professor at the ELTE Department of Film Studies. She will examine how and why Korean cinema has gained such remarkable popularity among Western audiences, overcoming cultural and language barriers to achieve worldwide recognition.

Everyone interested in film, culture and the global influence of South Korean cinema is welcome to attend.
